Easter was a blast and Hamster got her very first Easter egg!
My little sister, whom I can't seem to say no to, begged for some hand made Easter dresses for her American Girl dolls. She did this, of course, the week before Easter! I got up early 2 mornings in a row and with the help of a wonderful pattern from http://sewlikemymom.com/ I made a set of black and white dresses!
I've also been washing up baby clothes and blankets and preparing mentally for the arrival of Hamster! The bassinet is all ready in our bedroom. It is a pretty special place for her to sleep since it is the bassinet I slept in and also my sister. Now my own little wee girl will take a turn. The outfit in there is her "coming home" dress made by the lovely Heidi (Digital Misfit). I will pack it up a little closer to time to make sure it comes along to the hospital with us. A month left people!
I'll be back to share a couple more projects this week!

The story of the bassinet is so special.
Good luck with everything!!
I LOVE this bassinet. I am so jealous that you have a vintage bassinet to use. It is so sweet and special that it was yours also. Congrats on the new bundle on the way. I just found your blog and it looks like one I'll be reading more. :-)
Please take a look at mine too. http://rayraydesigns.blogspot.com/
Thank you!
