It is from a class I took this summer from a national teacher. The blocks were super fun and I had a blast picking out Kauffman batiks.
I had a specific vision for the quilting. I wanted a tight meander pattern. My wonderful long arm quilter scaled down her meander pattern to get it just how I wanted!
The backing is just a plain light blue that shows off the quilting just perfectly.
I'm so happy to have one holiday gift completed! Now I need to get to work on the rest of my list!

It is beautiful. I love the watery effect of the rippled quilting on the batiks (which, as I recall, were NOT a joy to select - though not as much of a pain as the cowboy fabrics!)
You do beautiful work! I love your choice of fabrics. I've been contemplating another batik quilt in that same color scheme to match our nursery colors.
